Hygienik C-Plank Suspended Ceiling

Description

Extruded twin wall PVC tongue and grooved C-Plank. Fixed to gyproc M/F concealed grid system, secret fixed through the back tongue with hex head screws to create fully sealed flat PVC membrane.

Hygienik C-Plank materials are impervious to attack by fungi, insects, vermin and most bacteria. Resistant to most corrosive elements likely to be encountered and satisfies Class 1 Fire specs BS476 Part 7 1971. Complies with EEC regulations for hygiene in Food Production Areas : Directive No 64/483 and requirements as outlined in statutory instruments 454 and 1805 (Food Hygiene).

Service Fittings

Sprinklers, lights and ducting by others. Apertures for ducting and lights to be cut to suit. Provision of fixing points for surface mounted lights in the form of secondary grid section to be incorporated at the time of installation of the grid.

Accessories

Access panel constructed from C-Plank boards bonded within a white powder coated Tel frame 600mm x 600mm mechanically fixed to ceiling boards/grid.

Fixing Method

Gyproc MF System primary grid section suspended on suitable hangers mechanically fixed to structural soffet. Secondary grid section clipped to primary section at right angle using connecting clips.

With perimeter channel secured to wall along perimeter line. PVC edge trim secured to perimeter channel Hygienik C-Plank secured to secondary grid (Furrings).

Cutting

A jigsaw is the best method, however a fine tooth handsaw can be used.
