Project Description

Hygienik developed a bespoke cladding solution for carbon fibre manufacturer, Cytec, at their plant in the north of England.

Hygienik MD, Matt Papworth, came up with the idea of using specially-manufactured full-height 4.5m high cladding sheets to minimise the number of joints. This maximised the hygienic conditions within the production area and also reduced the installation time.

The 4.5m sheets were sourced from a leading UK cladding manufacturer and a bespoke run of 200 sheets was ordered. Panels were cut to size on site to clad the gable ends. Cladding was fitted around doors, roof supports, pipes and cables as required.

Over 2,200 square metres of cladding was expertly fitted directly to the existing walls during the 4-week project.
