Hygienik faced a huge challenge when asked to clad a hygiene-critical production facility at a carbon fibre manufacturing plant.
Drawing on over 30 years' experience we designed and specified a solution that will minimise the number of panels and joints needed. This helps to optimise hygiene levels within the production area and reduces installation times.
Hygienik Director, Matt Papworth, came up with the idea of using specially-manufactured 4.5m high cladding sheets while on site. These were sourced from a leading UK cladding manufacturer and a bespoke run of 200 4.5m sheets was ordered for the bespoke installation.
Panels were cut to size on site to ensure that the gable ends were fully cladded. The cladding was also fitted around doors, roof supports, pipes and cables as required during the installation.
Over 2,200 square metres of cladding was expertly fitted direct to the existing walls during the 4-week project.
